Superights inked first TV deals for That's Joey!
Superights (France) announced a group of sales for its new 3D series That's Joey! (52x’13).The program has already been picked up by RTBF (French speaking Belgium), RTS (Switzerland), Discovery Kids (Middle East and North Africa), RTI (Ivory Coast) along with commissioning broadcaster M6 (France). Planeta Junior also stroke a deal with Kidzone in the Baltics. Other pending deals with international broadcasters are currently in discussion and will be announced soon.
Produced by Superprod Animation, in coproduction with Digital Graphics, Atmosphere and Planeta Junior That's Joey! is an animation comedy tv series based on the comic books created by Thierry Coppée and published by Delcourt, with over 5 million copies sold worldwide. Aimed at kids from 6 to 9, That's Joey! will follow the adventures of Joey, an irresistible and unpredictable kid with an overactive imagination. Joey just can't stop concocting the zaniest schemes, in class, at home or everywhere in between. Get ready to jump on board for his wacky adventures!
Developed and produced in partnership with M6, the final stages of the production of the series are now being completed at Superprod's studios in Paris and Angouleme, and at Digital Graphics in Belgium. M6 will soon announce the broadcasting schedule of the series.
Superprod Films, Superprod live-action division, has just produced a live-action feature film adapted from the same book property, in partnership with SND (M6 Group), Bidibul Productions and Frakas. The movie is a family comedy set to be released theatrically later this year.
