Mondo TV and Calidra appoint ETS Group as agent for Grisù in Italy
Mondo TV Group, leader in Italy and Europe in the production and distribution of animated television series, together with Calidra BV announce the appointment of ETS Group srl, as Agent for the licensing in Italy (and Italian-speaking Switzerland, Vatican City, San Marino, Monaco) of Grisù.The appointment of the prestigious agency aims to consolidate and expand the property's Licensee portfolio in the key market for the iconic IP. Among the numerous partners already on-board, who launched their products during 2024 are Giochi Preziosi, Ravensburger, Giunti, Commodore Industries, Emmeci, Pon Pon Edizioni, Spreadshirt, Carnaval Queen, Euro Publishing, Thekom. Fondazione Aida is bringing the Grisù Musical. A dragon without fear!, (dramaturgy by Marco Pagot and Manuel Renga and inspired by the animated series broadcast on Rai Yoyo) in a tour of over 40 dates in 35 cities, in the main Italian theatres gathering an audience of thousands.
Numerous are the collaborations at the Pompieropoli events, with the National Association of Fire Brigades.
Grisù animated series in 3D (52 x 12') is an international co-production by Mondo TV France, Mondo TV Spa, Pagot, Calidra BV, Toon2Tango, ZDF Studios, with the participation of Rai Kids and ZDF and was launched in December 2023 on Italy's leading preschool channel, Rai Yoyo.
The new episodes have been scheduled in BTS 2024 and the success of the series on TV is also due to the strong backing from the channel which, with half hour timeslots by 2 episodes in primetime evening, has supported the series to embrace a vast audience that also includes the nostalgic grown ups.
The participation of Grisù's mascot in the famous program La Posta di Yoto on the occasion of Firefighters' Day on December 4, 2024 marked a further success in the career of the little dragon who dreams to be a firefighter and who is always ready to help whoever is in need.
ETS Licensing is an independent agency in the Italian scene. Already known for having brought success phenomena such as Peppa Pig and PJ Masks, it boasts a strong licensing portfolio that ranges from animation to design illustrations.
