NBC Universal Formats & Polsat introduce The Real Housewives of Warsaw
This latest instalment of The Real Housewives franchise will follow the lavish lifestyles of eight fabulous and affluent housewives living in Warsaw, Poland. It's the first Polish iteration of NBC Universal Format's global franchise and the 35th adaptation overall.Produced by Rochstar, The Real Housewives of Warsaw will be available on Polsat. The show is licensed globally by NBCUniversal Formats, which is part of Universal International Studios, a division of Universal Studio Group.
Ana Langenberg, Senior Vice President of Format Sales & Production at NBCUniversal Formats, said: ‘We are excited to unveil the glamourous women heading up the first Polish instalment of The Real Housewives. Working with our partners at Rochstar and Polsat, this season promises to be like no other and we’re delighted to bring this format to Polish audiences’.
The first season will feature performances by:
Anita Kuś-Munsaje: A businesswoman and fashion lover. Together with her husband, she runs the biggest cosmetic medicine clinic in Dublin. Now based in Warsaw, they made the big move during the pandemic. Anita wished for her kids to experience the Polish culture first hand, polish their Polish and spend more time with family. Anita is Polish but spent most of her adult life in Ireland. Her husband is half-Irish, half-Zambian, making their family unit a unique blend of cultures and languages. Anita is a fashion lover through and through and is currently trying to make her mark as a fashion influencer. She’s full of spunk and natural charisma, always in search of new adventures. Quirky and funny, Anita knows how to handle even the most challenging situations. She's an avid traveller who loves to live life to the fullest.
Magda Pyć-Leszczuk: A self-made businesswoman who successfully runs an advertising agency and a printing company. Her husband, a former sailor, now runs a company that develops shopping centres. Together they have a son and a daughter. The family lives in a luxurious villa in Warsaw’s prestigious Młociny district. Keeping her feet firmly on the ground, she manages to help other women find their "Inner Goddess” a project she’s most passionate about. Magda advises women how to break patterns and not be afraid to reach for anything they want in life. She enjoys having things her own way in both business and in life and is brutally honest, even if it comes across as harsh at times.
Barbara (Basia) Sobczak: A world-renowned implantologist and a successful businesswoman, Basia runs dental clinics in both Warsaw and Dubai. She created her own innovative treatment, which she uses to help patients from all over the world. Thanks to her business-savvy and perseverance, Basia has opened a clinic in the prestigious Dubai Mall shopping centre with plans to open more clinics in Poland. Basia is a loving wife and mother of a 12-year-old daughter who lives in Dubai, where she attends a private school. Basia's mother helps take care of her granddaughter, living with her in the UAE. The family lives between two continents, splitting time in their big, modern house in Warsaw and two high-end apartments in Dubai.
Anna Szubierajska: Owner of the luxurious Mazurski Raj hotel in the heart of Polish illustrious lake district, together with her husband, Anna also runs a big development company. Anna is a mom of two now-grown children - a daughter who runs the family hotel business and a son who helps his father at the construction company. She often visits the South of France, where she loves to relax with her closest friends. She’s passionate about helping animals, often taking care of stray dogs and wounded furry friends.
Monika Żochowska: Co-founder of the iconic GLOV brand, Monika came up with the innovative idea for her company’s biggest bestseller. An instant hit and selling millions across the world, it’s a glove that helps to remove makeup in a quick and easy way, only using water. Monika has lived in the US, Spain, France, Belgium and the UK, although she loves Warsaw the most. She still adores travelling, which is always a family affair that includes her partner, their 2-year-old son and his nanny. She lives a luxurious life and has equally luxurious passions, including diamonds. She’s a certified diamond expert and runs a company dedicated to helping others invest in gemstones.
Sara Koślińska: A businesswoman working mainly in the field of new technologies, Sara is a Harvard MBA graduate who co-owns a start-up company focused on financial technologies. Limitless, the app she co-created, makes investing easier for younger clients of banks and insurance companies. Sara was featured on prestigious lists compiled by “Forbes Magazine”, including the iconic “30 Under 30” and “100 Female Founders in Europe to Follow”. She lives with her financier husband in an opulent apartment on the prestigious Aleja Róż, which makes her daily commute a beautiful, park-filled experience. On the weekends, when they have her husband’s children from a previous marriage, the family moves to their grand villa in a gated area. Her guilty pleasure is… watching dating shows whilst eating crisps.
Kasia Przydryga: Kasia is a photographer who specialises in children’s fashion photography, taking pictures for luxurious brands and resorts. A mom of 11-year-old twins, daughter Vivi and son Olivier, her road to success was not always easy. It was during a tough time that Kasia came up with the idea to start taking photos of her kids and putting them up on her blog. Following this, she quickly noticed that she started to get offered deals from Polish and foreign brands, including Dolce & Gabbana. She loves to travel with her kids, combining work with relaxation.
Monika Goździalska: Founder and owner of Petgram, an innovative and unique social app dedicated to pet owners, Monika owns four dogs. She has authored a controversial book, “The Scandalous Life of Models” in which she describes her own experiences in the world of high fashion. She also hosts podcasts and runs a fashion brand. However, to most, Monika is known as “Principessa”, an online persona she created to help other women feel their best. Her fans love her unapologetic attitude, raw honesty and openness. She’s not afraid to tell it like it is – and how it should be. Her mission is to uplift and unite women and to motivate them. She loves to spend time in her home in Spain, although she still believes there’s no place like the Masuria. Monika’s interests include cars and fashion. She is divorced and a mother of two now-grown children.
Anna Wrońska: PR & Marketing manager of Vitkac, Poland’s only luxury shopping centre, Anna’s the wife of popular rapper Juras, with whom she has a 3-year-old son Orion. She’s been working in the fashion industry for 15 years and has authored two e-books along with hosting a podcast about the business of fashion, career advice and women’s financial independence. Anna loves to travel and visit new, luxurious places. She believes in the power of manifestation and affirmation.
