FILM.UA Group and “Kazakhfilm” signed a memorandum of cooperation
Ukraine's leading media conglomerate FILM.UA Group, specialized in content creation and distribution, has signed a memorandum of cooperation with JSC “Kazakhfilm”. This memorandum stipulates collaboration in creating full feature, animation, and documentary films and series, as well as content for new media and digital projects. The memorandum also entails experience sharing between the companies.The document was signed by the CEO of FILM.UA Group Victoria Yarmoshchuk and the President of “Kazakhfilm” film studio Akan Satayev. 'Cooperation with Kazakhfilm is a hugely important step for us. The largest and oldest film studio in Kazakhstan has enormous experience and vast potential in creating engaging, high-quality video content. On the other hand, FILM.UA Group, as the largest vertically integrated media group in Eastern Europe, can offer a lot in return. We are looking forward to our fruitful and continuous cooperation on many exciting projects destined to enrich both Ukrainian and Kazakh film industries', remarked Yarmoshchuk.

We hope that our collaboration, which began in distribution, will become an important step in strengthening friendship and advancements in cinema for both countries. This step is only the beginning of a long journey', added Satayev.
JSC “Kazakhfilm” named after Shaken Aimanov was founded in 1934. It is a leading film studio in Kazakhstan, involved in the production and postproduction of feature, documentary, and animation films. Since Kazakhstan's independence, Kazakhfilm studio has produced over 600 films - 147 feature films (including 6 TV feature films); 86 short films; 287 documentaries (including 8 documentary series); 76 animated films (including 1 animated series and 3 full-length animated films). Over the last 30 years, more than 200 Kazakhfilm-made films participated in over 220 festivals and international shows in 60 countries of the world and won more than 300 various awards, including 51 Grand Prix.
